Hampton Inn & Suites Bloomfield Hills Detroit

We enjoyed a view of the wetlands including the swans who visited in the morning. The breakfast served until 10am was appreciated. The swimming pool was warm enough to actually enjoy it!!! Very clean and quiet. The only downside was the wallpaper seemed to need replacing. It looked like an installation issue.

Stayed here for my wife’s medical procedure. It was a little expensive, but it was a place to stay nearby with the roads being bad. No issues with contactless check in, room was sufficiently cleaned, no bugs, odors, or surprises, did notice a few small cosmetic things like rust on the barn door bar and a small ding at the bottom of the door, likely from a luggage cart or suitcase. Breakfast was decent and the elderly ladies tending it were sweet and officered good conversation. The only thing I did not care for was the fact that MAYBE a manager or housekeeping supervisor seemed upset that we were placed on the 4th floor during their remodel, when the apologetic heavy-set black man who knocked on our door to confirm went back to tell her the room was occupied she started screaming and swearing, Im not sure if it was out of frustration or if it was directed at him, but I was absolutely disgusted. I felt so bad for him. I’m only mentioning this because I’m not sure if this woman I heard makes norm of talking to other staff members like this, but that is not cool.. I would be willing to email y'all my stay information to help find out who she is because I was flabbergasted.

Loved it awesome breakfast loved it only thing was no shampoo or conditioner or soap left in the bottles attached to the wall but super clean and nice and check in was super easy

Perfect stay! Our room felt new with zero wear & tear. The room was spacious and was very clean and had a smart design and layout. Check-in was easy. They offer morning breakfast which we didn’t try but it’s your standard hotel breakfast set up. Would highly recommend!

My room was huge and I loved it. It was very clean and the location of the hotel was quite. The bathroom was great on the bed was very comfortable. I would difficulty stay there again.

The young man that waited on us Thursday afternoon was very unprofessional he was not courteous, nor was he understanding when we had started our original reservation online. Gentleman at the front desk did not nor would he believe me about the pricing I was given, he stated that the information that I was given was wrong, their rooms started about $32.00 Dollars higher. He ended up charging me $186.00 plus tax. My original bill was $118.00 plus tax, totalling $129.00. Friday when I called back to discuss my bill I was talking with their Manager he was very intentinve he was able to lookup my original bill and he corrected our bill to the original quote and he was apologizing for the other youngmans behavior. Thank you to the Manager and his kindness and support in this matter.

Clean hotel with great continental breakfast. Check-in was smooth. Opted to use the app to check-in and utilize virtual keycards. The process was a breeze, although I did need a physical card for the ice room. Location was safe, staff was courteous and professional. Wouldn't hesitate to book again.

I had a fantastic stay at the Hampton Inn in Bloomfield Hills! From the moment I walked in, the hospitality was top-notch, and a huge part of that was thanks to Alicia at the front desk. She was incredibly welcoming, professional, and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable. Alicia’s warm demeanor and genuine attentiveness made all the difference. She provided great local recommendations, quickly handled any requests I had, and truly made me feel like a valued guest. It’s rare to come across someone who takes such pride in their role, and her dedication to excellent service was evident in every interaction. Beyond the outstanding service, the hotel itself was clean, well-maintained, and had all the amenities I needed for a relaxing stay. The breakfast was fresh and well-stocked, and the overall atmosphere was inviting. I highly recommend this Hampton Inn, and if you have the pleasure of meeting Alicia, you’ll see why she’s such an asset to the team! I’ll definitely be staying here again!
